Fashion show by River Mountain at Courtyard Restaurant

River Mountain Antiques & Primitives will be stepping out on Saturday, December 19th at the Courtyard Restaurant. You will be able to enjoy a Christmas Tea and view the fantastic new fashions that can be found at River Mountain, including such brand names as Flax, Sacred Threads, Willow, and Match Point Linen.

The fashion show presented by River Mountain Antiques & Primitives is included in the price of the Christmas Tea, where sconces, finger sandwiches, and dessert will be served. Tickets are $20.00 per person including tax. RSVP by Thursday, December 17th by calling 423-245-5914. (Seating is limited.) The Christmas Tea and River Mountain Fashion Show beginning at noon on Saturday, December 19th will be at the Courtyard Restaurant located at 201 East New Street in Downtown Kingsport.

Local artists featured at River Mountain Antiques & Primitives

There are now three very talented local artists displaying their works for sale at River Mountain Antiques & Primitives.

The first artist is Brenda Bundrant, who is known throughout the area for her exquisite watercolors. (She has even taught classes for the Art Discovery program sponsored by the Kingsport Art Guild. Her artwork is pictured above.)

A second artist who has some of her works at River Mountain is Margaret Helvey. Margaret is a Blountville artist who specializes in watercolor, acrylic, and collage. She is also listed with the Arts Council of Kingsport.

Last but definitely not least, there is Samantha Pulver, who produces unique "window art." She can turn old windows that were destined for the trash heap into beautiful works of art.

There are numerous art pieces featured at River Mountain. Debbie has really set up an artist gallery in her new shop. You will definitely want to visit and take a look at the talent that we have in this area. You might even find the perfect piece for your own home or to give as a gift to that special person this Christmas.

New clothing lines -- something for everyone

As mentioned on Dena's Excursions, Sacred Threads is one of the new lines added. In addition, you can find Willow Sweaters, Match Point Linen, Big Sky Western Wear, and Double D Ranch t-shirts. You can put together a great outfit for work or play. There are stylish western boots to pair up with equally stylish blue jeans for a more casual look.
